Savings as a Source of Financial Energy on the Farm—What Determines the Accumulation of Savings by Agricultural Households? Model Approach

The aim of this study was to identify and evaluate the factors influencing propensity farm households accumulate savings, which in work are treated as a source financial energy, taking into account socioeconomic characteristics relating farmer their household, well characteristics. Classification regression tree analysis (CRT) used achieve goal. conducted on group farms Central Pomerania (Poland) participating Farm Accountancy Data Network. 348 farms, obtained through survey carried out 2020 using direct questionnaire, were for analyses. On basis application classification-regression method, it found that income (INC) key factor differentiating studied population terms followed by agricultural area (AREA) level education head household (EDU). It also that, case representing lower class, when had at most secondary over 34.5 years age, having successor (SUC) accumulation savings; however, direction relationship negative.
